(Another!) Shop Update

I made a bunch of new pieces the other night for my etsy shop and just got to listing them today. You should take a look at the goods :D

Turquoise Pentacle Necklace (Witchy, Pagan, Wiccan, Pentagram, Stone, Howlite)

Wire-Wrapped Quartz Point Pendant

Femme Girl Earrings (Pink, Purple, Women, Feminist)

Coral & Hematite Star Bracelet

Awesome, right? I think so, a lot of these pieces are going to be hard for me to part with, they're so darn pretty!

Interior Inspirations

I am a huge believer in the fact that your wardrobe and your living space should reflect who you are and should make your heart sing. Self expression is incredibly important, not just in writing or making art, but in the way you live and the things you wake up to see in the morning. Being surrounded by colours, patterns, pictures, furniture, and other things that you love is a wonderful feeling that can help you feel complete.

No, I am not saying you should be materialistic -but there is no denying that having things you love can make you feel good. Key word is love -not just like. The things you buy for you and your home should make your heart leap and your mind whirl with the wonder of it. That's the way to shop and to know if you have found something truly precious.

Interior design has been on my mind. No, I didn't mean for that to rhyme but I appreciate that it does it makes my inner poet smile, haha. Anyways, Pinterest is a gold mine for home decor pictures so I thought I would share some of my favourites, all of which can be found on my Decor Dreams Board.

Love these stairs

Something anyone can do with crates & wall color with the stuff we collect in life

I'm a big fan of colour as you can see. I also love filling up a space -I don't like bare walls or empty shelves. I'd prefer to fill up my home with art, teacups, books, dreamcatchers, lanterns, posters, and windchimes. I keep dried flowers in vases and statuettes of unicorns on my dresser. I hand my jewelry on the wall so that I can always look at it. I'm a very visual person and I want there to always be something beautiful and interesting to look at.

I also wish I could turn one entire room of my apartment into a fort but I doubt I could get all my housemates on board for it, haha.

What kind of living space resonates with you? Loud colours or muted tones? Clutter or minimalism?

September Goals

Hello

Usually for my goals lists I make my own nifty graphic for the top of the page but I'm really not feeling up to photoshop today so instead I just snagged something off of tumblr. I'm not sure who made this originally but if you do, please let me know so I can add a credit link! Thanks :)

Anyways, September is here and after a pretty good summer I think I am ready for the autumn season. I did manage to get to the beach yesterday for one last time before classes start which was awesome. Me, Sue, and her brother (and my good friend) found a small, quiet beach in Rhode Island with free parking, tiny (I mean minuscule) waves and a bevy of seafood restaurants nearby. Not that I eat fish, but the place we went made a pretty good black bean burger.

But now it's September and I start my classes in a few shorts days -vacation is over. For this month I hope to...

Find balance between work, classes, and my other responsibilities.
Finish reading City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare.
Finish chapter 8 of my novel, Runaway.
Update my etsy shop at least once.
Spend time with friends who are returning to campus.

Small list, but I don't want to give myself too much to do. I have 6 classes to worry about going to and doing homework for as well as a job to go to.There is only so much one girl can do. Once I graduate I can give myself crazy long lists to power through that won't leave me feeling dead at the end of each day. Maybe.

What are your goals for the coming month? Anyone else back in school?
