Freshly Shaved

Sue shaved my sides again for me while I was over so they're not shaggy looking anymore and I'm so happy. I love having shaved bits of hair, it just makes styling it more fun and more interesting, especially since I'm too lazy to do much beyond ponytails and clipping it. I do need to trim my bangs though.

Sue got me that plaid shirt awhile back and it's one of my favourite things to wear. So comfy and just the right weight for this time of year. And I'm just wearing it with leggings because I'm not a big fan of real pants, especially when I'm just hanging out at home.

Photo Dump

I have been with the lovely Sue at her apartment for the last week, and although I have sucked at taking some decent photos, I have taken some crappy phone pictures that I put on instagram. Which I am now dumping here for your viewing pleasure.

Maybe I'll have more pictures to share soon. We're going to a cookout later today and hopefully I remember to actually document some of it, haha.

Shots from my Bedroom Part II (image heavy)

I already shared a few quick pictures from my bedroom, but seeing as I now have a dresser (before my clothes were just in piles on the floor) and my room is fully put together (almost fully, I still need a throw rug) I thought I would share what it looks like.

Also, yes, these photos clearly have filters on them. The light in my room is sucky which makes the pictures grainy -the filter helps with that. Plus, it's pretty.

There you have it, the space I spend most of my time in. There's still a few things I want to do, like get a rug and some new curtains (currently I just have these horrible blinds) and a few succulents but that stuff will have to wait until I have some money.

Quick pictures from my week...

I spent five wonderful days with my best friend at the apartment she shares with my another friend of ours and her cat -and it was fantastic. It was the first time we've seen each other in a year and it was so nice to just be with someone who I can be 100% comfortable with and who I can switch back and forth with from a really intense conversation to one about Teen Wolf feelings.

We had a lovely time, too. We went out for Mexican food & margaritas, played Apples to Apples and then Cards Against Humanity with friends, drank wine, talk about books, and just enjoyed each other's company. I hated having to leave, although I was happy to see Eli again, who refused to let me hold him for four hours when I got back. He got over it though and now won't leave my side.

Anyways, here's a few pictures from my time away. And, yes, I was a bad blogger and didn't even take a picture of myself. Whoops.

got to include Sue's brother in the game.

Fire! They have a fireplace in their apartment because they're on the top floor. So awesome.

The filters were proving lots of fun to play with. Maybe I'm just really lame. But even if that's the case I don't care because this was fun and I like the pictures.

See? How frightening is that? I wish this webcam had  the split screen effect that my netbook one does. I love giving myself two heads and three eyes. (You can see what I mean HERE.)
