July Goals

2013 is half over! Yikes, how did that even happen? So far it has been a roller coaster of a year, that's for sure. I feel like everyone I know is wading through their own emotional sea of change right now. It's not a bad thing at all, but a break from the inner waves would be nice. I'd prefer some beach waves right about now. Hopefully I get some!

July is going to be a pretty cool month in our apartment -we have three birthdays to celebrate! Mine, my boyfriend's, and Eli's. Yes, Eli is going to have his birthday celebrated. I'd get him cat treats but he doesn't like them. He'll probably get a new feather toy and some catnip, those are his favourites.

Goals for the month are...

Stay on track with my workout regime, no matter how hot it gets.
Get some school stuff sorted out.
Write some stuff and some things! :D
Make this blog a more active space.
Visit my family more.

Again, simple goals for me. I don't like to give myself really big goals for the month because I know that if I have a low period (my anxiety acts up) and I don't finish those goals I am just going to beat myself up over it and make myself feel worse. I don't need that kind of stress.

What are your goals for the month?

  1. WOOHOO for July babies! What day is your birthday, lovely?! My July goals aren't very simple, well... I guess they kind of are. I have a major problem with responsibility, even responsibility to myself, so I often try to shrink away from everything and become a hermit, but this is my birthday month and I want to accomplish these. Some goals are to eat better breakfasts, which will start around the 15th when our food stamp card is filled. Take better care of my skin (I loathe acne, which I have a lot of) and clean up our room as best as I can before my birthday!

Plus, just enjoy the month with Jen, relax a little more than I usually do, and breathe. :)

    1. My birthday is the 22nd, the very last day of the Cancer sign :)
Skin care is something I have been focusing on a lot lately too. I only use soap on it every other day or so and make sure I keep it moisturized with cocoa butter. I use lots of lemon juice and honey on my face to help with redness and acne and it works pretty well.
      Good luck with your goals!
