Tuesday Teatime

Good news! My coughing has almost completely disappeared and my energy levels are completely normal again! Well, except for Sunday when I felt like a zombie all day, but that was due to very little sleep. This week is going to be one of putting myself on track with the things I want and need to do, as well as my workout routine and general health changes. So, with that, onward to the post!

Tea of the Week: Green tea. Yep, more green tea consumption is happening over here. It helps me feel energized and awake so I have been drinking it a lot lately.

Quote
We waste so many days waiting for weekend. So many nights wanting morning. Our lust for future comfort is the biggest thief of life.

You are right; that necklace is a show-stopper! (And the tattoo!)

    1. I'm glad to be doing better as well :)
And Hipporacle is pretty much a show-stopper in everything she does. Her paintings and self portraits are incredible

  2. I love the necklace, that top stone is just... drool worthy. That dress above 'tis is also beautiful! I agree so much with your post. I do keep seeing a lot of hate for corsets though, which *I* hate 'cause Jen and I absolutely adore them and have a bit of an addiction. They're so pretty. :) The Self Respect one though... Yes. I agree, so much. I hear people knock, for instance, strippers because they have no "self respect." Sorry, but if you're getting up there, doing what you love, while flaunting your gorgeous body and fabulous attitude, and getting high on the energy, you have some mighty self respect (at least, in my opinion, for most!)

Green tea is so good. I have certain flavors of green tea, like mangosteen and peach, acai and blueberry, etc. SO GOOD!!!

    1. I think corsets are great :) I think the image chose to use it though because they were typically used to make a woman look thinner and alter her form -a lot of women hated them but wore them because it wasn't proper not to. I think people that waist train today though are really interesting. I think it just comes down to choice.

And blueberry green tea sounds so good, I might make some of that today :)

And the corset picture is incredible! It made me so happy I got butterflies!
I love that quote. It reminds me of my Dad. He always says "don't wish your life away."

  4. Green tea is my go too. I always add a little red raspberry leaf with some honey and an orange slice. Yum! I love all the images you shared, and that etsy shop is swoon worthy. Thank you for sharing my bedroom, that was so sweet.
